Addicks = god.
During lunch she was passing out our attendence record sheets and I saw that I was close to losing credit in a few classes so I started writing a note "from my parents" ...Dear Ms. Addicks, Please excuse the unexcused that... then Addicks came up behind me, takes it from me, and goes.."how dare you try to write it and pass it off as your moms!" and she walks away shaking her head laughing....So I erased the note and wrote
Dear Ms Addicks.
You are a great dean.
Please excuse my unexcused classes.

At first she crumpled it up thinking it was a note from "my parents". Then I told her to take a look. She read it and cracked up and took my paper and excused three of them!!! *bows down to Addicks* I'm going to see if she will excuse any others. *big grin*
