UniversityOfNewHampshire is amazing. I went to the open house for admitted students today. As I was walking around the campus it felt like home. It was s o o beautiful earlier, kids were outside playing frisbee, skateboarding, reading out on the lawn...etc. I loved the whole campus vibe that it had. We went into the academic speech and it seems to have a strong program. Like every school they have an "academic advisor" but here, it seems as though you get more attention from them which is good for me because as of now, im undeclared. They explained how I will sit down the the advisor and go through my courtse list and they will work will my classes and make sure that I experience as much as possible and that I have a good idea of what I'm going to major in, by the middle of sophomore year.
Afterwards, I went into this student panel where we got to ask a buttload of questions. I found out about different activites, there are many socials and what not that all the dorms have, and within the dorms, each floor usually has different socials each week....so there is SOOO much to do. On top of that, there is a strip right at the edge of campus that has a few restaurants, bars, movie theatres, and stores. The next town over has a mall and a few other things. There is a bus/train that constantly goes to boston and Portsmouth - which I heard is beautiful with restaurants, beaches and what not. It seems to have EVERYTHING I want. Plus... the gym is great. they have a bunch of fitness classes and the biggest sport there is ICE HOCKEY!!! yay!!! and the dorms are sooo nice!! big, cable, everything. woohoo!
and that was my day.
