So I went to Boston yesterday to look at Northeastern and Emerson. I saw Northeastern first... it was real nice. Originally I wanted to go to a small college but after looking there I decided that I like bigger ones much better... its more diverse and the campus is nice, plus there are more majors to pick from and since as of now, I'm really undecided interms of what I want to do with my life, I guess a bigger school is a more suitable place for me. I'm sort of interested in media [radio/tv studio type stuff], psychology, advertising... who knows. I'm more open to anything now. I used to know that I wanted something arts related and that I wanted to go to a small school.. but once I went to Emerson I realised that the majors and minors that they have are more limited.. that didn't even occur to me.. hmmmm.. bUt yeah so that school was so different from what I had expected. It was really small with no campus, the main focus of the school is preforming arts, the people there were all with crazy dyed hair tons of piercings everywhere...yes... maybe even there... and they dont even have psychology as a major. The only thing i did like about the school was its film/tv production/radio equipment. very impressive. I gave that two thumbs up. So appearently its the best college station in the country, and people such as the cast of Friends, Dave Mathews Band, Nirvana, and some other people that I dont remember, visited the radio station.. and tons of people in the tv ish business gratuated from there...but yeh. a n y w a y s.... I was real dissappointed after my Emersons tour because everything is so different from what I expected.. seems that as I get closer and closer to college and my future, I know less of what I want and I'm just realising now how many options there are and I want to take them all.. I'm so indecisive I dont know how I'm going to figure all of this out.. I think I have to go back to my guidence counselor and tell her I'd rather go to a larger school, then she can give me a whole new list of schools for me to look at. yippie skippie!
hmm... so my mom bought me a smoothie to make me happier.. it worked. yay! Then on our way home our car broke down. YES folks... our hood was smoking. so we waited for 45 minutes for a tow truck... and when it came, it came with a hot mid-20s ish driver with a boston accent. I was happy. Then we waited in the gas station for an hour before the guys decided that they couldn't fix our car until tomorrow because we needed new parts and what not. They gave us a loner car and we went to a hotel that triple A gave us, but it ended up being a BU dorm.. THEN we walked around Boston and we found another hotel. We got a room and went back to the car for dinner... but the piece of shit wouldnt start of a while. we ended up taking the subway to QuincyMarket and my mom and I had yummy food there. Then on the way back from the T line to the hotel, two college boys came up to me and asked for drugs lol. They were like.. duuude this girl looks shady enough.. [i guess cuz i was walking around with a big bag of stuff...] but yeh. I was just like.. nahhh sorry. I thought it was funny... but my mom was all like Bianca! don't talk to strangers... its bad Iol. Then hotel... and I couldnt sleep cuz my mom took all the blanket.
Nxt morning she woke me up at 6 cuz we had to get our car... they didnt even look at it yet and they told us it would be ready in three hours so we went to HarvardSquare for breakfast and we went to UrbanOutfitters it was HUGE! i loved it. On the T line back.. this scary guy was sitting next to me and he was talking out loud to himself in Portuegese or Italian.. one of those.. and then he started asked me questions.. and he was like rubbing up against me right before I got off at my stop to switch onto another line.. he followed me onto that one!! I was so freaked... but phew he got off at the stop right before mine. lol... yeh.. then we went back, got our car and headed on the four hour drive home.
